		<description>Well, regarding people doing something about this years ago, there are lots of fitness groups focused on educating the public about exercise, nutrition, &amp; reducing childhood obesity. (I&#039;m a fitness instructor certified with the American Council on Exercise.)  Mrs. Obama isn&#039;t the first American to take action towards this problem. ;)

I have to say, I agree. The question of whether or not corporations can &quot;police themselves&quot; with regards to marketing junk food to kids is a complex one. (I think Connie addresses this in her book &quot;Sugar Shock.&quot;) Personally, I don&#039;t think self-policing is adequate and I don&#039;t think asking manufacturers to make their food healthier is helpful or effective.</description>
