I thought "Love GRows" was the version my kids sang in preschool, "Love Grows, 1 by 1, 2 by 2 , etc." Wrong song entirely.

"Purple Haza" might do it for me...

It's great being "unique!" Well, we all are anyway, just some of us are more interesting and fun than others...I put you happily in that category....(glad you didn't buy that w.c.!)

I love LGWMRG too! It makes the heart smile and it brings back that feeling of untinged happiness. I could listen to it over and over...

Fantastic! I’m no longer unique! Stunned that another huge LGWMRG fan exists. Can a Facebook page be far behind? Tony Burrows Reunion Tour? BTW, I thought of BTO’s “Taking Care of Business” lyrics and it was eerily prescient insofar of your life and mine – even though it’s taken you longer than me to jump on the “self-employed” train. And believe it or not, one day you WILL love it.

Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes IS the grand romantic experience marker of youth. Not to be all Dickensian, but in '69 we were temporarily homeless and living with my grandmother, who wasn't thrilled about it, in a sad part of Cardiff and life was generally a bit grim. But on Saturdays I would sneak into my Auntie Pat's room and we would listen to pop on the radio with the sound turned down. We couldn't get enough of that song. It was sunshine and laughter and places where no one would ever try to get you to eat boiled cabbage.

LGWMRG is on my top 10 and I know all the words. No. 1? Why that would be BTO's "Taking Care of Business."

Naturally.
